How does a car broker work?
A car broker works on your behalf to find, compare and negotiate
the best deal on your next vehicle. Instead of visiting multiple
dealerships yourself, you tell us what you’re looking for and we
search our network of dealers, auctions and private sellers across
QLD and NSW to find the right vehicle at the right price. We handle
the negotiation, paperwork and delivery — you just approve the deal.
How much does it cost to use SS Car Brokers?
There is no cost to use SS Car & Truck Brokers to you, the purchaser.
How does a car broker get me a better price than I could get myself?
We buy vehicles regularly through an established dealer network,
which means dealers know us and want our repeat business. That gives
us leverage individual buyers simply don’t have walking in off the
street. We also have access to auctions and private sellers most
buyers never see, which means more competition on price and better
options overall.
Do you only find new cars, or can you help with used vehicles too?
We source all types of vehicles — new cars, used and pre-owned,
demonstrator vehicles, utes, commercial vehicles and trucks. Whether
you’re after a family SUV, a work vehicle or an entire fleet, we
can help. If it’s a vehicle sold in QLD or NSW, we can find it.
Do I have to be in Brisbane or Queensland?
No. While we’re based in North Brisbane and service QLD primarily,
we also source vehicles across NSW and can arrange interstate
delivery. If you’re outside QLD, get in touch and we’ll let you
know what’s possible for your situation.
Why use a broker instead of just going to a dealership?
When you walk into a dealership, the salesperson works for the
dealer — not for you. Their job is to maximise the dealership’s
margin. A broker works exclusively for the buyer. We have no
incentive to push a particular vehicle or brand — our only goal
is finding the right vehicle at the best price for you. It’s a
fundamentally different relationship.
Can a car broker help with accessories and extras for my vehicle?
Yes, this is where we can save you a lot of money compared
to buying accessories through a dealership. We can arrange a wide
range of additions for your vehicle including air conditioning,
window tinting, paint and interior protection, rust-proofing and
underbody treatments, security systems and immobilisers, cruise
control, alloy wheels, vehicle trims and personalised number plates.
If you want something added to your vehicle, just include it in
your brief and we’ll factor it into the deal.
Can a car broker help with extended warranties and vehicle financing?
Yes to both. We can arrange extended warranty plans to give you
peace of mind beyond the standard manufacturer coverage. We can
also connect you with the right people for vehicle financing —
